Tiers description
Uncommon !
This tier unlocks ALL of our animations and grants you access to our #sneak-peek channel in Discord.
This tier has a limited number of spots available. Patrons come and go or upgrade to a superior tier quite regularly however.
Rare !
This tier gives you access to the #request channel on Discord where you may ask for a specific colour for one of our existing assets.
For example, a pink Eldritch Blast, a rainbow coloured Scorching Ray or even a dark blue Spirit Guardians and many more exist thanks to patrons requests ! Of course if we have many requests, we will add them to a list and work our way through it.
Epic !
This tier will give you access to a blender file, the Map Animator tool. It is a bonus for this tier. All updates for this tool won’t be charged and will be accessible to this tier and above.
Legendary !
This tier used to grant a commission. We have removed this benefit until we can find a stable rhythm. So for now, this tier is mainly for financial support to help us continue making our assets.
We will create a cool little animation with your name (Patreon or Discord username, as you wish) to add to our Hall of Fame as a thanks like we did for Otigon and Lazytron, our very first supporters !
General Info
Per release ?
We charge “per release”. It means that when we release a post containing assets for our patrons, you get charged the pledge amount in accordance to the tier you decided to pledge for. If we release a second post within the same month, you only get charged if the maximum pledge you set is above your initial pledge.
Moreover, if we don’t release anything for one month, for any reason at all, you won’t be charged.
The billing method is called “Per Creation” by default. You can read the official documentation from Patreon to find out more.
Release frequency
We want to keep a high quality standard for our assets. Therefore, It is highly unlikely that we will ever release more than four paid posts per month. We estimate our frequency of releases to stay between two and four per month depending on how inspired or otherwise busy we are !
We love making these assets and are overwhelmed with the support our patrons have shown us already !
Our goals are to pay our bills by continuing to create animations that you all enjoy and improve our skills, learning new softwares, and maybe upgrade our equipment to keep renewing our craft and be more comfortable in the process !
Billing
Transparency is key for us to build a trust relationship with you. It’s only fair that we need to create stuff for you to support us !
We have to create and release posts to make money and you spend however much you want or are comfortable with at any point in time.
You can change tier, modify your maximum pledge or even cancel your pledge and rejoin us at any moment. Patreon charges all members that are subscribed to a tier when a release is published and debits patrons on the first of each month for the content released the prior month.
Cancelling your pledge
First, thank you for your support ! Before doing so, be sure to download our latest release.
As long as you don’t uninstall our premium module from Forge, you should be able to continue to use our content although you won’t be able update our module to its latest version anymore. Don’t hesitate to contact us through the #questions channel on our Discord.

Why do we use discord ?
Discord allows for some very direct and quick back and forth communication between patrons and the creators and even other members of the community that share the same enthusiasm towards Tabletop gaming.
It’s a great tool to help answer questions with hyperlinks, posting images, snippets of videos and even nicely formatted javascript code that can be accessed at anytime via a quite powerful search functionality.
About our server
The Discord server is open to the public with only a few channels limited only to patrons.
We have created whole categories for modules like Automated Animations, Sequencer or Advanced Spell Effects that are specialized modules related to animation and animated effects within FoundryVTT. This is where you can get in touch with their respective authors, ask questions, resolve issues, provide feedback or offer suggestions.
Keep in mind however that Otigon, Wasp and Vauryx are not affiliated with JB2A and are developing these modules for free, on their free time. Please be extra patient and respectful towards them and consider supporting them or at least thanking them for their hard-work.
Sneak-Peek Channel
Only available to Patreon subscribers.
We post teasers of upcoming animated effects here and sometimes ask for feedback about the visuals.
Request Channel
Only available to 'Rare' tier subscribers or above.
This is where you can request a colour on an existing asset or a simple modification.
Troubleshooting
Available for everyone.
We’ll try to help you resolve any issues that may occur when installing our module or redirect you to the relevant channel for any other problem.
Macros
Available for everyone.
Javascript coding learning resource, macros examples and general help in understanding the FoundryVTT API. We are learning a lot ourselves from other members of the community who are a lot more code-saavy than us as well !
General
Overall chit-chat about anything from Tabletop RPG to the weather outside and everything in between, except politics, religion, ideological views…etc
General common sense required !
Other-modules
Any question you may have about other FoundryVTT modules whether if it uses our animations or not. We will try our best to answer them and many people in our community are ready to help as well !
